Welcome to Hatti Wholesale and Trade

As BAFTS Importers, a large volume of our sales comes from wholesale, so we always welcome new requests from people or organisations wishing to resell Hatti products as part of their range.

Whether you are already a dedicated fair trade supplier, aspiring to be or just like the products and think they will compliment your current range of goods, every time you place an order you are helping to support survivors of trafficking, disadvantaged or stigmatised women in the developing world.

  • Easy ordering through the website or by phone.
    Sign in using your unique username and password and you can place orders quickly and easily at trade prices and make payment at the time or opt to pay over the phone.

    You can also always phone us on 01793 617727 to place your orders and pay if you would prefer. (Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm)

    Your order will be dispatched same day or next day depending on whether you place your order am or pm.


  • Cash and Carry
    We have a cash and carry facility at our warehouse in Swindon, why not call in and see the bags for yourself, test the quality and colours. All the bags look better in person than they do in the pictures.
    Normal minimum order terms apply, we are open Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm.


  • Forward Ordering
    As we are working with Fair Trade producers, there is limited availability on some products and also sometimes, as we place orders 2-3 months ahead, we underestimate the popularity of some products. If there are products which sell particularly well for you and you want to guarantee supply some months in advance, (especially coming up to Christmas), you are able to forward order with a 25% deposit. We will tell you the anticipated deliver dates and order by dates for that shipment and you can plan your expenditure ahead of time and guarantee supply of those products. Forward ordering will commit you to taking the products you have ordered and paid a deposit for.


  • Minimum Orders to Qualify for Trade Prices
    Please note the minimum order value is £100 (excl) for trade customers. All prices quoted on the trade part of the website are subject to VAT at the standard rate of 17.5%.

    There are no exceptions to this rule, so please don’t ask.


  • Where Can I Buy Locally?
    Some customers do prefer to touch and feel products rather than buy from a website, so we provide a ‘where can I buy locally’ facility on the website, so customers can find their nearest stockist. Wholesale customers who wish to be included and advertised on our website, will need to commit to a minimum order level of £250 (excl) per month to qualify.


  • Postcode Exclusivity
    For our larger, regular customers, we can now offer ‘area exclusivity’ terms. We will commit to not selling to another retailer within your local area for a reciprocal commitment of orders totalling £500 (excl) per month . You will also automatically feature on Where Can I Buy Locally?


  • Delivery
    Delivery is £8.50 per order for deliveries to UK mainland, for other locations we will contact you with the delivery cost once the consignment weight is known.


  • Payment
    Payment for Trade customers is on dispatch. Payment can be made on-line at time of order or you can opt to pay by phone, in which case, when your order is ready we will contact you for your preferred payment method. We can accept payment by all major credit/debit cards, bank transfer or cheque.


  • Dispatch
    We will despatch the goods by courier on a next day service as soon as payment is received. Items out of stock will be displayed as such on the website.


  • Returns Policy
    (a) Faulty Goods

    We offer a 90 day no quibble policy for faulty goods. The Contract of sale is between Hatti Trading and you, the Wholesale customer and not between Hatti Trading and your customers; therefore the 90 days returns policy is from the date of YOUR invoice and not from the date your customer purchased the goods.

    In the event that a bag becomes faulty please telephone the office on 01793 617727 and we will send you a pre-paid envenlope in which to return the faulty bag to us. You can elect to have a replacement or credit.

    (b) Unwanted Goods

    If you decide you don’t like the product after all or it is not as expected, but is not faulty, simply return it to us within 14 days of purchase at your own expense, enclosing a copy of your original invoice and we will credit your account in full for the bag excl postage.

    Please note, this is a strict 14 day policy, you cannot return goods after a longer period of time has lapsed. We do not do Sale Or Return.

    NOT CONSIDERED FAULTY

    Please note that all the bags are individually handmade from natural materials and not mass produced, therefore, there can be slight variations in size and colour to the original picture, this is NOT considered a fault. With regard to the natural buffalo bags, please note that due to the natural tanning methods and absence of chemicals and dyes, the leather is completely natural and will show the natural imperfections of the buffalo. If you do not like this, then please don’t buy them, it is not a fault.
