Fair trade Wholesale

As BAFTS Importers, a large volume of our sales comes from wholesale, so we always welcome new requests from people or organisations wishing to resell Hatti products as part of their range.

Whether you are already a dedicated fair trade supplier, aspiring to be or just like the products and think they will compliment your current range of goods, every time you place an order you are helping to support survivors of trafficking, disadvantaged or stigmatised women in the developing world.

Easy ordering through the website or by phone.
Sign in using your unique username and password and you can place orders quickly and easily at trade prices and make payment at the time or opt to pay over the phone.

You can also always phone us on +44 (0)1793 514067 to place your orders and pay if you would prefer. (Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm)

Your order will be dispatched same day or next day depending on whether you place your order am or pm. 

Reserve Orders  
You can reserve stock which is anticipated to arrive in the next shipment; however, we require payment in full on reserve order to guarantee the stock being allocated to you.     
                                                                                  
Minimum Orders to Qualify for Trade Prices
The minimum order value is £100 (VAT excl) for trade customers. All prices quoted on the trade part of the website are subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20%.

There are no exceptions to this rule, so please don’t ask.
 
Sale or Return                                                                                                     
We offer sale or return on the first order. We understand that it can be a big risk ordering from a new supplier for the first time, so at Hatti, we offer Sale or Return on the first order. Items must be returned within two months of the purchase date and please note if there has been a decrease in price since the date of purchase we are only able to refund the current price. Please contact us for further terms and conditions.    

Delivery
Delivery is £8.50 per order for deliveries to UK mainland, excluding Highlands and Islands. If your delivery address is outside the standard UK mainland (exc Highlands and Islands) when you order via the internet, the weight and delivery costs are automatically calculated. If you order by phone we can let you know the anticipated delivery costs once the weight has been calculated by the dispatch company.

Payment
Payment for Trade customers is before dispatch. Payment can be made on-line at time of order or you can opt to pay by phone, in which case, when your order is ready we will contact you for your preferred payment method. We can accept payment by all major credit/debit cards, bank transfer or cheque. Prices are subject to change at any time. Invoices will be processed at prices correct at time of dispatch.

Dispatch
Your order will be dispatched upon payment by courier either same day or next day depending on whether you place your order am or pm. Items out of stock will be displayed as such on the website; if you include out of stock items within your order, the delivery will be made when all items are available to complete your order. You may opt to split delivery for additional items.
 
Where Can I Buy Locally?
Some customers do prefer to touch and feel products rather than buy from a website, so we provide a ‘where can I buy locally’ facility on the website, so customers can find their nearest stockist. If you prefer NOT to be included in the 'where i can buy locally' feature please let us know. Similarly if you are not on there and would like to be, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Postcode Exclusivity
If you are prepared to commit to a minimum order level of £100 per month, we are prepared to commit to not selling Hatti goods to other shops in your locality (10 mile radius).   If you are a market trader and travel to different towns in a region, please check the 'where can I buy locally' feature at the top of the home page to see if there is anyone else in your area and contact either them directly or us to find out if they have an exclusivity agreement.

Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event one of our products is faulty we offer a 90-day no quibble returns policy. The contract of sale is between Hatti Trading and you, the wholesale customer and not between Hatti Trading and your customers; therefore the 90-days return policy is from the date of your invoice and not from the date your customer purchased the goods. In the event that an item becomes faulty please telephone the office on 01793 514067.  We will either replace, repair or credit you.

NOT CONSIDERED FAULTY
Please note that all the bags are individually handmade from natural materials and not mass produced, therefore, there can be slight variations in size and colour to the original picture, this is NOT considered a fault.

With regard to the natural buffalo bags, please note that due to the natural tanning methods and absence of chemicals and dyes, the leather is completely natural and will show the natural imperfections of the buffalo. The natural tanning methods involve salt water and are finished with mustard seed oil, after time, if kept in storage and not used, the salt water and oil may continue to seep out of the leather forming a white wax; this wax can easily be cleaned off using a soft cloth and will wash out of any fabric. 

Hatti Reserves the right to refuse items returned outside the standard terms of return as set out above or to use it's discretion on an individual case basis.  Furthermore Hatti reserves the right to charge a re-stocking fee.

Unsuitable Goods
If you decide the item is unsuitable simply return it to us within 14 days of purchase (at your own expense) enclosing a copy of your original invoice an dwe will credit your account in full for the item (exc postage). Please note, this is a strict 14-day policy, you cannot return goods after a longer period of time has lapsed unless they are faulty.
