Child Sponsorship Child Sponsorship enables you to play an active role in the rehabilitation of a child on the EBT Child Education, Development and Reintegration programme (CEDAR). Your donation will be used to meet the direct costs associated with helping a named child to overcome the traumas of their past and ultimately grow into an independent, happy young person. Through regular updates and photographs, you will get to witness firsthand the development of the child you are sponsoring. For as little as 16 pence per day you can make a tangible difference to a vulnerable Nepali child’s life. Alternatively, for £1.50 per day you can meet their entire residential, rehabilitation, education and recreaction costs for a whole year.  How You Can Help There are three options to ensure there is a choice to match any budget. Each method of sponsorship provides essential funds that go directly to the care of a named child General Sponsorship - £25 per month This option covers the full residential care of one child, including accommodation and associated costs, clothing, food, heathcare and the wages of our compassionate female care staff who attend to their daily needs Education Sponsorship - £15 per month We want the children in our care to develop into confident, educated young people who have the freedeom to make decisions about their own lives. This means finding high quality primary and secondary schools offering the best education Nepal has to offer. Education Sponsorship covers school fees and the cost of uniforms, exercise books and stationery for one child - in addition to contributing to the upkeep of our school bus. Recreaction Sponsorship - £5 per month We encourage our children to pursue social activities that promote self expression. These hobbies or pastimes play a crucial role in each child’s rehabilitation. A small contribution of £5 per month supports one child in finding their own hobby or simply having fun - something we take for granted in our childhoods. It could fund membership of a sports or drama club or even a trip to the bowling alley for a night out. General and Education Sponsors receive six-monthly updates on the progress of the named child whose rehabilitation they are directly sponsoring. In addition to this, you will receive a photo of the child and a drawing they have made for you in Nepal. Recreation Sponsors rececive a six-monthly update on the activities the children have enjoyed, including pictures from any outings that have taken place.
