The new Young@Heart collection has been designed by
Jessica Ann, who went to Nepal to design handbags for us, but along the way discovered her talent for designing funky felt children’s bags and
accessories. These products are not just for children though, they are for
everyone, of all ages, who likes to have a bit of fun with their
accessories.
All the items are hand made from felt which is ultra strong, durable,
sustainable and environmentally friendly. For this collection, we have worked with a wonderful organisation in Kathmandu which provides
employment for women who otherwise can’t get work, including survivors of human trafficking and single mothers. They provide health benefits, child
education, fair wages and good working environments, all under fair trade
conditions and are dedicated to promoting women’s rights in a country where women are considered second class citizens.
None of our products are suitable for those little ones under 3 years old.
